Thank you to everyone who posted videos and pictures from Artistry on Ice! The "from above" view is especially interesting - I've always loved Stephane's footwork but the "special figures" sequences he's incorporated into this program are indeed amazing. I hope if he performs this program in another show, it will be skated on pristine ice (freshly Zamboni'd!!) so we can more clearly see the patterns instead of trying to see over previous skaters' markings.

Thank you so much, taipeifollowers . It's interesting to see how Stephane practices those "Special Figures" and how he imbeds them into the choreography of his new program. Certainly they require a lot of concentration, maybe it is this aspect which gives the a bit 'introverted' character in his new program? At the same time watching Stephane practicing the "Figures" is like a flashback for me. I vaguely remember how some 30 years ago skaters struggled because as first part of competitions, before the short program, they had to do "Compulsory Figures", means they had to copy to the millimeter exact given figures on the ice. I've seen pictures with judges on their knees examining the quality of those figures. I believe the "Complsory Figures" have been abandoned as they had mostly been really unloved by the skaters; wonderful performers could lose a competition because they struggled with them. Now it seems Stephane brings them back in another way. Strange and interesting. Taipeifollowers: enjoy today's show! You are welcome Jomeku I really enjoy the new show,So I didn't record the show on that day! There is a more complete press conference video in Beijing www.tudou.com/programs/view/KL4d8jNKxXc/

Thank you everyone for info, photos and videos! I had just the same thoughts about the new program "Say I wanna know" as Reut! There are similarities between his all 5 jazzy programs but mega-amazing footwork! I enjoy everything he does and always happy about a new program but I'd like to see him try new and new images, new music styles!!! Special big thanks to you taipeifollower for great press conference and practice videos! His few words in press conference helped to understand me that program. I hope in the next fan meeting he speaks maybe a bit more! His explanations about programs are always highly interesting and open new dimensions! Pity we don't have his words from other China press conferences Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, probably no one filmed his part About compulsory figures - isn't there difference between compulsory and special figures? Wikipedia gives so: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_figuresen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compulsory_figuresAnyway it's obvious that Stéphane is interested in them not because they were mandatory and ruined free skating but because of their unique and a now already forgotten beauty. You are welcome Pia When I saw him at the press conference in painting, I'm so excited, Because I believe in his heart must have a new plan.

Absolutely adore the new jazzy program! Makes me happy since I love all his jazzy programs. Very Fred Astaire-like. I had a terrible day, but watching the new program made me smile.
He makes it look so easy and natural, so that one can't see the choreographed steps- everything just flows together perfectly at exactly the right time, like he's just doing an impromptu dance. The view from above was especially impressive. How he can hold his edges for so long and with such complicated footwork!
