By the way, the CD for Euros is the Finnstep.
I can't wait to see how S&J dance it ...

All the best to them and I hope they recover well. However, looking on the bright side it means more chance of S&J getting that medal they deserve! What Florida said!

Just saw the schedule for the European's on Eurosport. It's not good. Coz it's the first week of the Australian Open the afternoon coverage is quite short. Oh well, I thought that. It's a pity they alway's clash with the tennis every year. It's a shame about Delobel & Shoenfelder but it does help John & Sinead. I think the gold will be between the two Russian couples. Can anyone tell me the dates for the Worlds in March?. THANK YOU

There will ba an hour long highlights program on BBC 2 on Sunday 25th 1.30pm-2.30pm: I suppose an hour's better than nothing! I wonder if there'll be anything on the red button, like there was for the Worlds last year when you could watch nearly all of it live. However, I imagine that most of the red button options will be taken up with Australian Open tennis. You never know - there might be something!

Just managed to find the red button schedule - and there is no coverage of the Europeans at all - just the Aussie Open and Bowls With a chance of a British ice dancing pair getting a medal you'd think that they'd have more than just one hour!

I really do hope that S&J get a medal. However, we all know that GB does not have much clout internationally in skating. With the 2 Russians, Faiella/Scali and Pechalat/Bourzat in the mix, my fear is that S&J will get stuffed again and end up 4th. I hope the judges prove me wrong ...

And having come sixth and fifth at their last two appearances at the European Championships and with defending champions Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin of Russia set to be absent, Sinead believes it's their turn to reach the podium. "I really do think we've got a great chance of a medal," she said. "It could one of either two ways with the judges knowing exactly what they want or just going with the form book. "But we have to believe it is our chance to shine. Our coaches say don't think about medals but our choreographers say do. "We'll wait and see but on form you'd say it's between us, the French, the Russians and the Italians so we'll have to wait and see." www.morethanthegames.co.uk/figure-skating/kerrs-burst-a-big-lead-british-championships

I that's probably a blip in the report - Del & Sch are probably meant.
But I think the comp dance in the euros might cause some surprises in this event, and could really affect the end outcome if it leaves gaps to close. I don't think there have been any other competitions using it so far, so it's difficult to know how things will look going into the OD. Should make it interesting viewing in any case!

It is a very difficult dance. There might be a very wide range of scores in the CD!
