And I have a question: do we have any fans from here who plan to go to Euros? Because lambiel_ru will organize a fan meeting and they will be glad to invite you too.
Just to clarify this meeting is going to be different from what we usually have in Verona. First of all they will need to book a conference room in one of the hotels which means it will cost money (which will be divided to be paid by all participants, of course) and they need to know ASAP exactly how many people plan to join as they need to know how big the conference room should be. You will need to register (preferably in LiveJournal + joining community) and to commit that you come. Second, meeting will be held in English but with translation to Russian. Third, they usually think about questions together and then decide who asks what, so it's less spontaneous, although this time they kind of struggle with finding questions so maybe you can help.
One more thing, meeting itself will be on Sunday, January 21st and we will try to organize a live stream. I will post more info here closer to the date. (And it also will be recorded to video, like always, so no worries )
Thank you, Reut ... and, again, ladies from lambiel-ru !!
Those photos are pieces of art!!! From "miss_violett" ? Thank you so much!!!
It's on the wrong thread, but connected with this wonderful meeting: Reut, Stéphane mentions during the meeting that he talked to you about his "Schindlers List" program. Would you mind to tell us about what he said; I would be very! interested to learn about it (don't worry ... I'm veeery patient ... and Art on ice is only in March ... , no hurry...
All what he said will be published. (And let's keep threads as they are, OK? Because sometimes I love to find things from the past and when we always post "in the wrong thread" it's hard to find something afterwards Thanks )
Update: as a few people already asked me, I'll write in a few minutes exactly which materials I have from all my last "skating trips", OK?
(I wrote a very detailed post, but while I posted it I was somehow logged out, so it was not posted and also was not saved... )
OK, so what I have: From "Villars on Ice" - photos, not very good ones and not many, more "decent" ones will be published in report on AS.
From "Music on Ice" - photos from the second show, but Anna has much, much better ones, so we'll publish hers and I will process and post mine to my Flickr account at some point, probably not before Worlds Also, I have an interview with Deniss about shows - in general and about specific shows he did.
From Euros - a lot of photos, partly we published them already on AS Facebook/Twitter, so you should check there. More photos (mostly from the practices) will be hopefully published in bigger "Europeans album" as some point on AS. And then the very full album, with much more "Team Champery" (Deniss, Diana, Stef) photos will be on my Flickr account, probably not before Worlds. Mixed zone talk with Deniss and Stephane (after SP) - part which is not mine with Deniss (was in Russian, not sure that it was published anywhere so I might translate and post it here), my follow up with Deniss about something we discussed in Bellinzona, short talk with Deniss and Stephane about Olympic Games. Short talk with Stephane about shows - Villars and Art (very short, not much details about AOI).
Publications to come: - Quotes (Stephane, Deniss, Kiira) + photos in report about "Villars on Ice" - Two interviews (Deniss, Kiira) in one article about "Music on Ice" - Promo article for "Art on Ice" with quotes from Deniss, Stephane and others. - Olympic quotes from Deniss & Stephane will be published probably only on our social media - FB/Twitter - during the Games, we'll see.
Like I mentioned earlier I also planned an interview with Diana (this was supposed to be maybe an article about "Team Latvia" in Champery or something like that, won't happen). And I had mixed zone questions for Diana & Stephane, didn't happen as there was no mixed zone time with them.
A few people asked me about it, but I really, truly can't make an interview with Stephane each time I see him. I mean I probably would have loved to, but he wouldn't. There was "too much of me" for him during these weeks even the way it was.
Many things to look forward to . Thank you in advance!
On the videos from the meeting it is definitely clearly to be seen that there was not "too much of you" for him! Honestly, I would think that your presence during the meeting even might have added to his feeling comfortable and at ease!
I am happy with all the news, photos and videos we got these days and will get in a while ... even without an explicit new interview right now .
... And, on a side note, concerning "Team Champéry": They obviously had been "forced out" of the Palladium in Champéry between Music on Ice and the Euros. The rink there had been transformed into kind of indoors football place for some football competition (I've seen a photo of this somewhere and almost couldn't believe my eyes ). So I guess that's why they went to Moscow so early to train at 'Mrs Moser's' rink.
